A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

well i have a simple question.

since the day me and my g/f made love(protected) and i came inside her with a brand new condom and so i was sure that there was no leak cause i checked it before i put it on and i know it didnt broke because the fluids didnt even flow out of the condom. but since then, the night after that day she started puking. for 4 days straight she keeps on puking constantly but till now she is still puking but its not constantly anymore and her brest got tender and she keeps on having headache(note:she always have some sort of headache before that day)and she was always tired too but i doubt that because she was always tired when she moved and i was just worried if she is pregnant because of the symptoms and her breast got tender too and she and some of her friends said that it happens during their period but before she never had a tender breast even during her period its not even time for her period yet..

i need some great advice or explination to this but every advice or explination would be greatly accepted from all of you cupids out there.

jessica04 agony auntThis could all simply be the power of suggestion. When I was pregnant, I didn't have my first symptom (fatigue) until I was about 1 month.

She is probably going through normal hormonal changes before she gets her period, and is just over reacting mentally to them. Breast tenderness, weight gain and headache are VERY common for most women during their period.

If she is still as violently ill as you say, then she needs to see a doctor to make sure she doesn't have some nasty stomach virus. If she misses her period and you two are still really worried, then have her take an at-home test. But really there is no way to tell for the first couple of weeks.

Keep using condoms!

Sweet-thing agony auntUsually the signs of a pregnancy take weeks to show up. They do not appear the very next day (unless of course you were not her "first").....The typical signs usually come on slowly and appear around 6-8 weeks. Nausea, breast tenderness, the absence of her period, weight gain, a feeling of fullness all over. But again you don't get these symptoms the very next day. I think her problem is in her head. Maybe she's feeling guilty about having sex with you and it's causing her to feel some physical sickness. She may also may be having other female problems. Breasts do get tender before, and during a woman's period. Same with headaches, bloating, and cramps. The only way you're going to know for sure is to buy a home pregnancy test and be with her when she does it. Don't take her word for it. Hopefully she's not trying to trick you into thinking she's pregnant...but again, a pregnancy test will put everyone's mind to rest. Then she may need to go see her doctor and find out what's really causing her puking fits. Good luck.
