Question - (8 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 8 December 2009)
A female age 18-21, anonymous writes:

I told my current bf I never went to my ex-bf's house before, but that s not exactly true. I went there a couple of times but I didn't know my current bf yet. I feel a bit bad that I did lie, how can I tell him in a way so that he doesn't get upset and he don't lose trust in me.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom + , writes (8 December 2009):

You went before you met your new boyfriend, so it's none of his business to be honest. I don't think you really need to tell him. But if you feel you should, then sit him down and tell him that before you met him, you went there and you didn't want to say anything because you thought you would hurt him. If he's a good guy, he'll see it's no problem, because he didn't know you then. He might be a bit upset at first, but he should get over it. Of course if he doesn't, then he's not all that great.
