reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2006): i have had this problem before and i just asked it face to face - i am not a confident person but i did it and he said yes, the good things about doing it face to face are:your so proud of yourself after you have asked (even if he has said no)he is very impressed cos guys love girls who are confidentit will make you more confident and a much stronger person - u will learn to speak up for yourself a lot moretrust me its worth it! try to ask when he is on his own! just casually walk up to him and ask. go for it!you will know where u stand if you ask him and even if he does say no you can forget about and just shrug it off casually. he will respect you and may get to like you in the future - but dont wait around for him thohope i have helped
