If you have had an agreement with your boyfriend to be faithful, up to and including not making out with someone else, then I think you need to tell him. It is quite likely that he WILL break up with you--clearly he has been concerned about your ex enough to specifically name him as someone not to make out with, so I'm sure he will take it as a real betrayal of trust.
But if you tell him yourself, you have a better chance of talking it through with him. If you don't, and it comes up later, or worse, your ex tells him, he will have two betrayals to deal with.
More interesting to consider, though, is why you did it. You say several times that you don't have feelings for your ex--so then why did you end up making out with him? Why does your boyfriend think you have feelings for him? I think you may want to spend some time considering if you do, in fact, still have feelings for your ex and if not, why you would be willing to do something that was so clearly doing to destroy your relationship with your boyfriend.
Best of luck.
