A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Having a hard time, not sure where to begin.

I lost my Grandad whom was very close to us and split up with my boyfriend the same week as his funeral. Everyone around me is sad and my Nan isn't coping well but is refusing help, to leave the house etc. I feel like I haven't dealt with any of my emotions and everything is just getting on top of me. I'm really missing a partner to work through my emotions with me. Half the time I'm not sure if I'm crying for my grandad or my ex. It's been 5 months and I'm still a mess, please help.

Honeygirl agony auntHon, please get yourself into counselling. You have been through a lot recently and a counsellor would be able to teach you how to cope. Alternatively, go and see your Doctor, he/she would also be able to advise you on where to go to from here.
