reader, anonymous, writes (29 July 2010): Your best friend probably would not appreciate it if you dated her ex, nor does he sound at all interested in you if he asks you about her and asks her out all the time. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but from what you've said here, that's what it sounds like.
