I like him and he's in his 30's

Question - (12 November 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 13 November 2007)
A female Ireland age 13-15, anonymous writes:

I am in love with my teacher. I know It will never go anywhere. But I want it to. And my mates have mentioned his flirty behaviour once or twise. I'm almost 15 but with my life experiances I have matured faster than many people. Most of the time my mates have mentioned male teachers seeming to form an attraction to me for this reason. But now I like one back and although he is in his thirties it is becoming increasingly difficult to reject his advances. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS! :)

A male reader, anonymous, writes (13 November 2007):

If you as mature as you claim.

You know what to do.

Don't get into anything more than a friendship tops. If he tries to make it more, give him one warning before you go get him fired.

A mature person does not get involved with a student, whatever age and however attractive and mature she may be.

So take the high road and date only people of your own age until you're at least 18.
