You could try and get him on his own and ask him whether he would like to do something together, find out what his hobbies are and if they match your own ask him if he'd like to do that.
Most guys though like a happy and confident girl, who doesn't have to be the prettist girl or the most popular.
Even at his age if he likes you he won't care what his friends think!
Try speaking to him and if he doesn't give you any signals then try looking around at some of the other guys around, there's lots of good guys out there you just may not of noticed them as your so hung up on this guy.
