I lied, am I worth taking back?

Question - (21 November 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 November 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I was dating this boy for a while (a year) and it was long distance since he moved with his family, I lied to him about not being able to send him pictures because I gained about 4 pounds and even though it doesn't sound like a lot I didn't want him to not find me attractive, and he caught me on it. I also lied about being friends with someone cause he hated her. But after my first lie he treated me terribly, he became indifferent and apathetic, he broke up with me countless times and whenever I would ask why he would do it he would bring up the lies and say how worse I was then him. He blames me for our relationship not working and it hurts, I love him more then anything and I can't imagine my life without him. Please, help.

If he doesn't trust you then there's not much of a relationship i'm afraid. The lies you mentioned aren't major ones and it sounds like he's made a big deal out of nothing. I think it's best you move on from him.
