 Dreams are rarely so very literal. Our dreams just reflect whatever emotions or problems our subconscious is trying to work through. It's possible that you're longing for a relationship or wanting to experience deeper emotions--your mind just uses this guy's image to act as shorthand for "Some Guy".
Unless you like him when you're awake, I wouldn't think too much about what this guy means to you. It's not as though you would be in love with him without knowing it when conscious.
