A female reader, anonymous, writes (22 November 2010):

hey girl,

Moving on is really hard. I too dated a guy for 3 years and then broke it off. First, you should kno that it won't be easy, but to really get over him u have to cut off all communication. No texts, calls, fb friends (this one is important bc seeing him talk to other girls on it will drive u crazy after a break up), ect. U have write a list with everything u hated about him and read it whenever u feel sad our doubtful about the break up. Next, GO HAVE FUN! Go out with friends! Anything that will keep your mind off him. Plus, this will show you how much fun it is being single (trust me, it can be A LOT of fun!) Figure out who you really are and what u want out of life. Boys suck!
