It've been 5 months, and unless your stomach has started to grow, you aren't pregnant. Like the others said: Your body is adjusting.

A reader, anonymous, writes (27 August 2011):

Judging by your age i'm guessing you haven't had sex, right? If you haven't then it's more than likely just because you've only just started your period and it takes time for your body to adjust. If you're worried then go and see your doctor.

josephy agony auntIf you have just start getting your period recently then it's normal it takes sometimes to be regular. The second time I got my period was 3 months later. But you can see your doc and check that would be better.

If you just started your period then it's normal so dont be worried it's just your body adjusting. However if you have had sex then you may be pregnant, But it is most likely your body adjusting.

Cupid_or_Stupid agony auntAssuming you've not had sexual intercourse at all within those five months (ruling out the chance of pregnancy) then it could be normal, or it could be something much more serious.

Either way you need to see your doctor. If it's something serious there may be time to solve the problem.

Good luck!
