A reader, anonymous, writes (11 January 2007):

If you are sexually active at 13 to 15, why are you not on birth control pills or patch or implant? There is no reason to risk pregnancy in this day and age....if it is because you are too young to legally get the perscription without parental approval, please tell your parents that you are sexually active and to take you to the doctor because they will be much angrier and upset with you if you turn up pregnant and they have a grandchild to support and a daughter who cannot finish school!

Tell them today, the longer you wait the less likely you will have options to deal with an unwanted pregnancy.

childof1981 agony auntI am loathe to admit it but we can't do much to help you out. You need medical advice that should only come from a doctor after he has given you a professional diagnosis.

TasteofIndia agony auntFirst: Go get some more pregnancy tests and try it again. Maybe the first ones didn't take - it's been awhile. If you're still coming up negative, it's time to visit a Planned Parenthood or your doctor and figure out what's going on. Because clearly, something is. If they come up positive, you need to go to the doctor. Either way, get medical attention.

So make the appointment today, get some pregnancy tests after that, take one test tonight, and one test tomorrow morning.

Good luck, sweetness.
