I am 14,female,and bi. Recently a girl who I've had a crush on for several months asked me out. So, we are going out now, but whenever I'm around her or talk to her I blush. It's soo noticable because my face gets very red. I have problems keeping eye contact, or even talking to her for that matter. I don't want this problem to screw up the relationship...what do I do? How can I fix this?

Awww :)you shouldnt worry about this atall, im sure if you told her how she makes you feel she'd find it really cute :). The reason you go all gooey and red is because your going out with someone you have had a crush on for a while and your all excited about it and still probably a little nervous.

Just try looking at the top of her nose in between her eyes itll look like your giving her eye contact and just try calming yourself down before hand.

Im Bisexual myself and have been dating my girlfriend for almost 4 months now and i was the same at the beginning and i still get all excited now its perfectly normal and its healthy to feel this way. your happy :). Good luck.

Maybe its because you've not come in terms about the fact that you're actually dating your crush. you have not accepted that fact yet, and blushing and not keeping eye contact or talking is because of the excitement thats in your heart. I'd suggest calming yourself down first before you leave to visit her. concentrate on what she has to say and listen, then think before you respond. take baby steps.. focus on looking at her first, then having eye contact, then go step by step.

I'd like to teach you a trick thats worked for me. Everytime my heart races and i blush, i casually reach up to my chest and chat "its all good, its all good". it helps keep me planted on the ground and be present so to speak.

you can overcome this, its excitement. Learn how to express yourself. I'm sure you'll be just fine. Take care. : )
