reader, anonymous, writes (22 December 2007): Hey sweetie. Listen, no guy is ever worth you crying for. Men. They are something. Let him do the crying. If he loves you he WILL call you. Give him time. Make him sweat it out. Cause if he loves you then he is probably just as upset as you are. If he is worth your time, he WILL call you. But be strong in the meantime. And DO NOT regret what you did. Stick to your word.
And when he does call, act really happy and busy and tell him you will call him back. Always act like you know what you are doing. So stick by your word and do not give in and call him. Even if you WERE wrong, he'll respect you more for it.
And in the future, if you want to avoid this, don't break up with guys for silly reasons. But don't be a pushover either. In the meantime BE STRONG.

 You don't mention your reasons for splitting with him, however i feel your only option here is get back in contact and tell him it was a mistake breaking up with him. Tell him you have thought about him every day and that it was the biggest mistake you ever made, and that you would like to make another go of it.
