reader, anonymous, writes (5 March 2015): Hi, I know how you feel as I had a huge crush on my 1st older male cousin when I was younger for years! I even remember getting really upset when I found out he got a girlfriend.
To be honest I always knew nothing could ever happen between us- I mean we are related & it would cause so many issues!
As time went on my crush faded- I had boyfriends & he got married (I was a bit envious at the time) but that passed. I ended up meeting my husband who I love so much & trust me - the feeling of love & feeling of a crush are completly different. A crush will fade, love won't.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do but just keep in mind it may upset a few people if you decide to have a relationship with him x
