I don't have big boobs, I don't have those cute small nipples, and I don't have perfect round ones. I have 34b boobs with big nipples and that are pointed. I am so embarrassed by them. When me and my boyfriend have sex, I hold and cover my boobs, Most of the time I leave a bra on. My boyfriend says "I love your boobies" all the time. But he has only seen them for a spilt second facing me straight. When you look from a side angle, there pointy. and when my nipples aren't hard when I'm cold or goosebumps they kind of look fine. I seriously need advice on how I can be confident on my boobs.. or do I just need surgery?? Jessica, 15, USA3

 It's this kind of question that makes me so sad about the expectations for women in America. Porn stars aren't real. They are airbrushed and digitally altered and put in creative lighting and have TONS of plastic surgery. They aren't real. They are made to look good on a camera, they aren't born like that. Everyone's breasts are different and most guys I know just like any breasts. Fake ones feel awful and plastic. The guys who like those are the guys who prefer to look at the women rather than be with them. Also, at 15 your breasts aren't fully developed. Most breasts at that age aren't rounded out yet, but guys like them all the same. No you don't "need" surgery and you shouldn't get it. Your boyfriend has said he loves them, show them to him and stop being so self-conscious! He wouldn't say he loved them if he didn't. Trust me, he does.

 Im exactly the same size as you. But the difference is im 17. When me and my boyfriend make love i used to wear my bra and then he reassured me and now i dont wear my bra anymore, im still quick to put my bra back on afterwards but i feel comfortable letting him see all of me. Listen hunny your still going to grow, my mother always had my size and when she turned about 30 she moved up a size, your young and your body is still growing. Your boyfriend will appreciate you showing him everything. You shouldnt be embarraced, he likes your body the way it is.

I think is a lesson that if it doesn't start to sink in now it will do very soon.

 There is nothing wrong with your boobs and they're nothing to be embarassed about. Loads of women will have the same shape that you have. And at 15, they might still change.

Just so that you don't get a shock when looking at the link, those are pictures of women's boobs. They're from a TV show called Embarrassing bodies which helps people all all sorts of medical issues. They also teach people that there is nothing to be ashamed of about certain things, such as the size and shape of breasts and for guys the size and shape of their penis.
Anyway, I think those pictures will really help you in realising that there is nothing wrong with your boobs.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 May 2010): the boobs you see in magazines, movies and porn don't look like your average breasts. boobs aren't usually all round and they might not even be equally big. young girls usually have pointy boobs (i know i sure do). some girls have big nipples or our farms and some have small. even the colour is different from girl to girl.
my advice would be to go to the baths or some sport centre. in the locker room when the other girls/women undress, sneak a peak at their breast. you will see how different they look from magazines and such. you will see that you don't look any different from the average.
also: trust your boyfriend! he's probly a bit disappointed not to be able to see your lovely boobs when you have sex. and yes, he probably think they are really good looking, don't worry. guys love breast, no matter if they are big, small, round, pointy or whatever.

 Ive had your prob before i matured quickly and had 36DD in the 5th graade imagine a 5'2 girl who weighs 119 with huge boobs. i would constantly wear sweaters to cover them even during hot days. Point is dont be ashamed with what u have many ppl have difirent likes maybe your bf is into the kind of boobs u have surgery is way up to u.

 I think you should let guy decide how you "boobs" look like and not you. He acctualy thinks that they are beautiful and you're worring about nothing.
From what you described you got beautiful normal breasts for your age and the breast you seen in all magazines are not real :) and usually digitaly enhanced.
