writes:this may sound stupid but its really bothering me, my siblings and i have always been protective of each other. my elder brother has been abroad for seven years he came back 2weeks ago. recently at some family party i found him and my best friend kissing. i was so disappointed, and got mad at them. i aint talking to my best friend either. feels like my bro doesnt deserve the respect i give him. coz they hardly know each other. she is my only friend he has met, and the last because at this rate i cant take chances on my other girlfriends. am i over reacting?

Yes you're overreacting but it's natural. Your best friend and your brother are probably among the most important people in your life right now, probably your sole support network. Them getting together inevitably changes the dynamic and you have to accept that they mean as much to each other and they mean to you. Ask yourself this and be honest.... if you were attracted to your brother's best friend would the fact that he was your brother's friend stop you getting together? Because it shouldn't. Stand back and let them be happy and hope it doesn't all come crashing down anytime soon.
