A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i dont know if this should be here, so sorry if im wrong.

but following up on my earlier question about the ex, other things have happened. but its nothing to do with him, its me.

this is a health related problem and im very scared. when he broke up with me i didnt eat for a while, didnt sleep and all my drive for life was gone. slowly ive gotten that back but still the stress of all the problems between us has somehow taken its toll.

i feel sick whenever i eat now, been feeling light headed and dizzy and for the past week had coughing fits where i have had blood come up. i dont know what this is and neither do the doctors.

i know no one here is a doctor, but what do you think i should do?

A female reader, kellyO United Kingdom +, writes (11 December 2006):

kellyO agony auntHi dearie,

I would advise u to continue going for tests in the hospital. If there is any new development or symptoms dont hesitate to tell ur parents and the doctors. Tell them everything they need to know about u not eating and resting properly and how drained u feel both physically and psychologically. If u really do that i'm sure they will be sure what is wrong and how to go about helping you.

As with the other problem u are having with your relationship, know that no one should have such power over u to affect you in such a way. Life is full of disappointments and we all have to move on. If u go through this site u will find out that relationship in general constitutes alot. We all learn with new experience. I have been in your shoes as well in the past, but i learned to be strong and moved on.

I would advise u to take a break from relationships for the meantime and concentrate on your health and getting better. Forget about your ex and why he broke up with you. It is just simply the two of u arent compartible. You will find someone who will treat u right.

Take care dear.
