A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I met this girl about a year ago through a couple of friends, she expressed interest right away but I just kept it friendly until about six months ago. I ran into her and gave her my number. She called me that weekend and I met her out for a few drinks, this happened for about three weeks.

We hit it off almost instantly it was like it was meant to be. After about a month we had sex and it wasnt that great, almost like we werent ready yet. We continued to have sex and spend alot of time together, like everyday and it got alot better. I met her kids and everything seemed good.

After about two months she started getting distant and said we were moving too fast and she didn't want to be in a relationship. It cooled off a bit we still had sex but didn't spend nearly the time we were together. We still talk everyday and she tells me how much she likes me and how she wants to take it slow, but theres no sex, no nothing really. I know she was hurt before and we kinda rushed into things, but how long does it take?

I don't know what to do. I think about her constantly, I thought maybe at first it was just about the challenge of getting her back, but it's not I care about her alot. I've told her how I feel and she says she feels the same but it's still in like limbo it's crazy. I feel like I should move on and at hte same time think I might regret walking away. I need some advice please.
