I don't want to just be some rebound trophy girlfriend, but I'm not sure he likes me as much as I like him!

Hi, about two weeks ago I started going out with a guy my age. Things went pretty quickly from day 1, but we still haven't had sex due to us not ever really being alone together. This doesn't bother me.

Anyway. He's not exactly popular with the ladies generally, and everyone keeps asking stuff like "why are you going out with HIM?" which really, really pisses me off. I really really like this guy and that's all there is to it. Problem is, I'm not really sure he likes me as much. He's always telling me I'm hot, but I'm starting to wonder if that's the only reason he's with me.

The other day his ex (who he's 'still good friends with') hung out with us in a group of friends, and she and my boyfriend seemed to still get on really really well. I have nothing against them being mates, but although they weren't flirty it still bugged me how matey they were. Plus he was a bit snappy with me round her at times, but when he did start making out with me he kept looking over to see if she was watching.

I know this is kinda normal behaviour, I mean he might have just been trying to see her reaction. But I don't want to just be some rebound trophy girlfriend.

By the way he is always really nice to me and we do get on well. But still. I'm paranoid now :S Help!
