writes:hey, im 13, i woke up this morning and discorved that i had a text from my best friend, who i havent talked to in a month, because i thought i made him mad when he said i love you and i said love is just an illison, so i awake this morning to a love note text type thing. i love him but more as a brother. the message he sent readI know its late and i know i already said this but i have to get something off my chest, well i love you, i know u problly hear that from alot of diffrent guys, but i mean it so much. i cant explain how much i love you, i mean serioulsy. i know i havent texted in for ever but its because i have been really busy. mom said if i get a C in one of my classes then i cant play football next season. i want to play foot ball again but i promias, no i swear i have never stopped thinking about you. You give me feelings and emotions i have never felt and it feels so good. i dont want to let go of this feeling. i promias you make me feel good and loved. i think of you and can accually get through the horriable schoolday, through everyday, through life. your the reason i wake in the morning. I hate myselfe because i cant be there for u all the time and give you what u need. im sorry and im going to try to be there more because i love you and i care.i dont love him and i dont know how to tell him without sending him into a depression spree, some one help!?

Just be honest with him. Get straight to the point. Don't sugarcoat things because it could mislead him and you'll be in the exact same predicament as you're in now. Love yourself and be happy. You're young and have a full life ahead of you. Enjoy being free before you're older and responsibilities become unavoidable. Best wishes!
