A male reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2010):

retarded ejaculation is usually caused by stress, anxiety or sometimes medication or a medical condition. Go to a Dr to rule out physical causes. If you are under stress, nervous or insecure, you will need to relax and find a way to get in the zone. Maybe a different act (oral or something) will get you off. I have the same problem with my GF of 10 months. I was in a 20 year relationship prior, and it is very difficult to have an orgasm from missionary sex...only doggie and standing (and oral) get me off.

Hi,

I think it's best if you go to the doctor and get a check up, and take her with you so the doctor can explain to her that it's not her fault. The problem is her taking it personally won't be helping you. But maybe if a doctor can explain it to her, she might believe it. And if nothing else, you'll get checked up to make sure there is nothing wrong. Also look at your technique. If you're well hung and she's getting sore, maybe there's a connection there (i.e. you're not as comfortable as you should be etc)
