I am headed to visit an old friend in Argentina later this year and I see this as a way to meet a potential girlfriend in a place where I have heard there are beautiful women.  Some churches offer Spanish classes as part of the Hispanic Ministry.
Also, private tutoring is a good idea.
There are also some excellent software programs, like Rosetta Stone, for example. It's expensive but it's worth it.

Argentina is an incredible place, enjoy it. I agree, just enjoy your time more than anything and it will come along.  I see you live in America - go to craigslist.org and see if you can find a Spanish tutor. There are always ways to learn Spanish. You could get one of those CD learning sets, or go to a local community college and sign up for a Beginner's course.

 You can take a spanish class at your local college to start off with to learn spanish. But as far as finding a latin woman, perhaps you should just sit back and just have fun down there, and just let things happen.. If love finds you, great.
