How long should you wait before you are intimate with someone? I'm 24 and have only slept with one guy in Whig I was in a 6 year relationship with and I am back on the dating scene! I'm wondering how long should you wait I'm not really e permiscious type but it's been a year also!

How long is a piece of string? It totally depends on each situation. The most important thing is you feel comfortable with it, you feel ready and that you're doing it for the right reasons. It should happen naturally.

That's a tough question... I used to think a lot about it and would try to date someone for say 4 or 5 months before sex. I did that for the first 3 guys I slept with, but then I started to go with the flow more. I slept with my current boyfriend the night we got together (something I never thought I'd do) and it worked out perfectly, now we're getting married. So I think there are no rules - if you sleep together early and it works out, then it's all good. If it doesn't then it wasn't meant to be. Just go with the flow, enjoy and stop thinking about waiting.
