reader, anonymous, writes (12 September 2006): I agree with waiting a week to see if he calls. If he does not, you could then call yourself - though by that time you may have lost interest in him anyway.
Incidentally, if you follow James1980's advice, I can pretty much guarantee that the guy will NOT appreciate it!!

Get straignt on the phone and tell him you dont like playing games by waiting a certain amount of time to call him, - He will apprecaite that no end. Good luck!@!!

 If I'm interested in someone, I'll usually call at around the 48 hour mark. I don't call the next day because I don't want to appear too desperate. LOL. Plus it gives them some time to wiggle, wondering if I'm going to call or not. Build the anticipation. LOL.
If I don't call within 48 hours, I've either lost the number, I'm not interested, or I'm in a coma. LOL.
I may be a little old-fashioned, because I don't respond well to women that call me for the first time.

 I would give it a week max....then if he still hasn't called then go ahead and call him,if he dithers and starts making excuses then you will know your answer.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 September 2006): why not simply let it go' sometimes its hard to be patient and most of the time woman is the one who is always on that situation, but its better to wait and if he dont call its better to find a new one
