If you have sex when you are at the very end of your period and your flow is really light will he be able to tell that you are still on? Will it affect how much you feel when you have sex? Or is having sex when you are still on, however light you are, a no-no? xxx

If you dont want to have sex during your period, and I'm sure you aren't the only female out there who doesn't like to, then you will know when your period comes to an end. Have a long soak in the bath to clean yourself well and from there you should be ok. There isn't any set amount of days after or whatever. You'll know in yourself when its "safe" to have sex without the gross bit.

But I guess you don't get back to the way ur vagina usually is for a couple of days after huh? And I probably shouldn't have my first time whilst on my period... I should just wait shouldn't I? But my boyfriend is staying over and I worry that if I tell him I'm on my period (even though I'm nearly finished) He will ask me to do stuff to him instead and I'll have to say no because I don't want to yet. But I probably shouldnt have sex for the first time when I'm still on should I? because he won't be able to give me any foreplay and apparently that helps a lot. help xxx

Everything Basschick has told you is absolutely correct. Whether you choose to have sex during your period or not is totally up to you and your partner.
Some women find that having an orgasam during their period helps with any cramps they might be experiencing and "moves things along" in terms of flow duration.
On the other hand, some women find it uncomfortable and liken a period orgasm to mild labour contractions. Yet others would be horrified at the thought of becoming intimate at this time as they feel a bit sore and definately not in the mood. Everyone is different.
Its totally up to you whatever you decide. Just dont forget to use a condom whatever your time of the month is. You cant ever be too carefull.
Best wishes,
Skye

It's all personal preference. If you don't mind the mess and the blood stains on your sheets and/or clothes, you can have sex during your period. But most men don't care for it. Plus you're more slippery during your period and some guys say they don't have a good sensation due to all the wetness it creates. Once your flow has trickled down you could probably have sex without as much of a mess but it's all individual preference. Some guys freak out at the sight of blood on their, uh you know, afterwards. I usually wait until the flow stops, then I like to douche before having sex to eliminate any of the after-odors that come with your period. But that's just my preference.
