 Ah, so you have had greats AFTER arguments before? In a sense it makes "sense" that he could get turned on by an argument because he knows what CAN come after the argument... as in great sex.
I think it's part biological and part conditioning.

 I will answer your question with another one: why should it not be possible to feel aroused when arguing? Just because you have never experienced it, doesn't mean it's weird if others do.
Yes, some people can experience arousal during arguments. Some say sex during arguments is the best and most intense sex they've ever had. Some say sex AFTER the argument is the best. While some dislike arguments so much they turn ice cold... People are just different.
