I've never had friends, so i don't really know. They're nice, make me laugh, etc. On the other hand, we never meet up out of college, they rarely get in contact with me on Facebook or text. I can't tell when I'm being used and taken advantage of.What makes it even harder is that we are all acting students and met in September 2011 (but some have been on acting courses longer). So if it wasn't difficult to tell when they're being genuine, it's even more complicated because we all like acting and there's no bigger ego boost than someone believing you when you're acting - even if it's in real life :-/

HI
I would tend to look for friends that are not into acting classes like your self, As I agree it would be a good ego boost if they are acting there freindship and you fall for it. You know when you have a great freind when they are there for you as much as you are for them, when they give you good advice , not what you want to hear, when your sad they will do there best to cheer you up, and make you laugh, and most of all they would do anything for you without question ( withing reason ) lol. thats what any real freind would be like.
