I know u might think I'm going crazy but you can get rid of bum hair by plucking it the same way u pluck your eyebrows but Overall. U have to get someone else to do it for u unless u look in the mirror this way your body thinks it's your eyebrows your plucking so it grow back the slowness of your eyebrows does hope this was useful x

i had the same problem n shaving causes pimples.. so did hair removal (not a good idea btw) epilating hurt like a mofo.... i done it once and never again... it gave me pimples and it gave me scars coz the epilater got my skin too... so the best thing is waxing hollywood!! its the best it grows back thinner and after the first time it doesnt hurt anymore... the pain is literlly for one minute... i wouldnt not do it myself tho becuase the slower you are the more it will hurt its best to get a professional to do it quickly!! dont be embaressed they have seen it alll before!! goodluck!

you actual cant get rid of it ey. if u shave it makes you really uncumfortable and it grows back quicker, same with waxing.. just let it grow and if you partner doesnt like it shes not worth it.

I want to know the same question, but I swear on my LIFE that for a women, I have the thickest body hair on earth! Im not just saying this, it actually ruins my life... If I shave, it grows back thicker EVERYWHERE... legs...bum...stomach... and you can still see it even if I shave.

I get red bumps and ingrown hairs all over the place... it never used to be like that till i started shaving, now its thicker and seems to be getting worse and worse.

I cant wear skirts or shorts because of it, and cant even make love to my man the right way because I dont want him to see me all the way naked or even touch me! Creams such as nair... and razors do NOT work.

WHAT CAN I GET?! I dont have money to spend on laser hair removal... this ruins my life so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Depends how hairy your crack is, I mean, are you a yeti? Perhaps a chain saw could help. My uncle reg had the longest bum hair i've ever seen, he had the plait it to keep it tidy. One day he took the chainsaw to it and he was right as rain, as bald as a coot. You're not giving us much to work with here...

A female reader, anonymous, writes (4 March 2008):

shaving is a bad idea, the hair will grow back thicker and fast. i had really thin and almost non-existant hair there before i shaved it off and it came back thick and coarse. ew.

epilating hurts like a mother fucking bitch, i can't even take the pain on my legs, but if you're some kind of robot that can take intense amounts of pain, go for it.

hair removal cream is annoying because you have to keep using it, and the hair will keep growing back faster. also, it's a bit dodgy to put it in your bum.

i'd go for waxing, it's easiest (takes about 20 minutes), lasts long, the hair will get thinner and thinner as you do it and will grow back slower, and doesn't hurt a whole lot (just one rip :P)

A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 January 2008):

Well i say the epilator is your best bet. I have dark hair so my body hair is highly visible. If i shave i have to do it every day, which is just too much. Hair removal cream does seriously nothing at all. Waxing doesnt take all the hair away and i couldnt consitantly go over the same patch. So i bought my epilator. Don't know if its just me but its alot less sore on your bum than your legs.

It can take a bit of courage, but id rather do that than get on all fours and have some stranger wax me lol. Still if youre comfortable with that option, then book in for a wax.

Also Many women have the same problem so don't let it get to you too much :)

willywombat agony auntThe brazilian wax....hurts a lot (so I am told). Shaving leaves stubble which itches like a bugger. Hair removal cream, especially designed for thos sensitive areas, like stina sez...patch test first is a total MUST!! And a ladyshave typ thingie....all good ideas.

A female reader, vina_101 United Kingdom +, writes (30 January 2007):

vina_101 agony auntThe easy, pain free, Quick and relatively cheap way to do it is....HAIR REMOVAL CREAM. Takes 15 minutes max. Apply to area where there is unwanted hair (in this case your err..bum)and leave it on for 15 minutes or less and rinse off. Your skin will be soft and smooth and hair free. Only takes 15 minutes. You can buy "Nair" hair removal sachets form pretty much any cosmetic type shop. Sachets only cost like...£0.80p I think.

Just incase you're allergic to any of the ingredients it is recommended that you do a test first. And if there is a bad reaction then don't use it. This isn't very common though so you should be fine. The instructions will be on the back of the sachets (you can buy it in a tube like bottle as well but it's more expensive). Don't leave it on for more than 15 minutes.

And because it's cream you can even apply it to hard to reach places like...your 'bum crack.' Go on, try it. :)
