writes:how do you get over someone you have never fully been with?okay... i'm in love with this guy. it was love at first sight for me and i thought he liked me,i thought, well i knew that he liked me from the way he looked at me. we emailed and texted and met up once or twice but he's my brothers friend and 4 years older than myself and i'm a year under age. he seemed really keen then he just texted me sayin "hey at the risk of sounding very paranoid have u lost interest in me?" then like straight after he texted, "hey sorry i just sent that to u by mistake it was suposed to go to someone else." its been almost 24 hours and i haven't stopped crying and thinking about it. i've never felt so much pain in my life, i just want to curl up and drown in misery. a part of me tells myself that we were never together and i shouldn't be so sad. So what do i do to get over him?

reader, anonymous, writes (1 July 2010): At the risk of sounding insensitive the best option for you is to just wait some time, do not get heartbroken because you're still young and I am sure that the right guy is out there for you. If he doesn't care about you like you do then it is his loss. though i believe that the whole age difference may have been the problem. Maybe look for someone that is similar in age, at least until you hit 20 then you can date old fogies or whoever you want to. Just relax and give yourself some time ok.

He has a girlfriend and all now. we were a friends with benifits and i wanted to be more than that but he didnt so i cry and think about him everyday. But i am trying to get over him. I know life sucks dont it.
