We had sex for the first time and used a condom. I got pregnant anyway. I am scared of telling him and don't really know the best way too. Do I just sit him down and say Im pregnant or talk about it first? Please help!

reader, anonymous, writes (22 November 2008): You need to prepare him a bit, yes sit him down and tell him there's something important you need to tell him and that you feel nervous about it. If he is the father, it is best he knows as he could find out later, or just see you are pregnant, so it is best you tell him.
I'm glad you've got family support as that is so important.
