writes:This question has most probably been asked a million times and ive looked through them but they dont have the answersi need so i'm asking you this,What should i do to stop this urge for a boyfriend?Okay i.m gay and have known this for a long time and its been bringing me into these rough patches where i start getting down because i crave a boyfriend someone to hold me close so i start going on websites with gay porn and naked guys well my most recent one was a big one the only way i could watch porn was through my ipod touch and i always had it with me making sure nobody saw and was disgusted that i was watching porn and was gay but my mum thought i was watching regular porn on my ipod and confiscated it but luckily there was a lock code on it so im still closeted but it made me worse because i was going through this alone and i was needing a comfort but i went really down at one point and my sister realized (im the youngest and i have two sisters and tge middle child was the one to realise) she eventually found out she seemed ok about it but i could see that she was upset because im te last one that can carry on the family name but she was at laeast ok with it there are no gays in my school believe me i live in wales and all the boys are either got girlfriends or fancy someone its oblivious to me when someones straight in my school and its just really hard for me to do anything about this im really needing a boyfruend or a gay friend but zero of them areplease help(sorry if this has been really long and wierd but im writint it quickly and cutting it down smaller)

I can imagine that you do feel very lonely right now and that it really gets to you. But I promise you're not.
There are other gay people in your environment and you will meet them. As a gay teenager it might not be as easy to find love as it is for straight ones but it is not impossible. Of course the most important thing is that you can accept who you are and stand up for it.
Don't forget that many other boys around you might be ACTING straight cause they are afraid to come out like you are.
Even if you are going through a very tough period right now please don't lose faith in the future and absolutely do check out this website. I'm sure it will help.

Also remember that it is completely normal to long for love and someone to hold you and probably not find anyone yet.
This happens to everyone who is human and is not related to your sexuality. Even though they have more 'obvious possibilities' there are also a lot of straight people who don't find love for a very long time.
I understand that it IS harder if you probably don't even know anyone who is gay but keep looking. You will meet other gay boys.
