How do I put him at ease?

Question - (18 June 2017) 2 Answers - (Newest, 23 June 2017)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Myself and a guy I work with have been dancing around each other for a while now, we've been out a couple of times and he's kissed me with a bit of Dutch courage on board!

Thing is he's really shy and un-confident and he fully admits to that whereas I'm a naturally dominant person.

I don't want to come on too strong and scare him off but I'm sick of us beating around the bush! What do I do?

A female reader, aunt honesty Ireland +, writes (23 June 2017):

aunt honesty agony auntStop dancing around him, tell him how you feel and take the lead. If that is your natural role and he is shy then it will work out, if it doesn't and you scare him then you are not what he is looking for. Never be afraid to be yourself. Take the lead and see how it goes.

You've been out twice? You've kissed?

Beating around the bush for what?

If he's shy and you're dominant; either slow your roll or find someone less shy.

If you'll scare him off, that means you're incompatible and not his type. If he sticks around, he doesn't mind that you're the pursuer.

If he's backing away, he may not be that into you.
