writes:Tonight I had this thing at my school for games and stuff things that are fun to do. Anyways, my friend kinda ditched me so I hung out with my friend and her bf. Later, my guy friend came along and we were flirting and being kinda sexual (talking). We were sitting by each other but not right side by side. Then later we just kinda got close where our legs were touching. Three people told us we should go out but we both said no because it was awkward and kinda embarassing. So then some of his friends were leaving and he ran after them. I thought he just left me without saying goodbye and stuff but 10 mins later he came back. :) We talked and flirted more, sat close to each other, and it was soon time to go. Earlier, he was texting one of his friends and I looked and all I could see was the word "flirting" which I was sure it was about us. I think he likes me and we have this formal dance coming up and I want to go with him. But how do I let him no that I like him and want to go? What if he turns me down? :/ Thanks.

 He is not a mind reader and he cannot see what's in your mind.
You need to ask him directly if he is interested and be prepared for any rejections.
If he turns you down without any good reasons , so be it. Think as you never asked him...Forget it and go ask another guy.
