I've tried nair, expensive shaving cream, buying 20dollars worth of razor heads and razors...just so I can get smooth skin, with no razor bumps, or ingrown hairs. Its so embarrassing when I shave my bikini area, and I have bumps everywhere, and my fiancé just-so-happens to see it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't bother him, but...it doesn't make me feel comfortable naked around him, when every section I shave..is covered in razor bumps etc.I've looked online at different types of razors (and bought them), and followed instructions on how to prevent the bumps (soaking your razor in warm water, and the area you are shaving...etc)Do you have any advice on what I can do to help prevent these terrible, embarrassing, irritating bumps?I went to the store and bought "Bikini zone, anti-bump" shaving gel. I haven't used it yet, considering I just bought it not even 5 minutes ago. Have you tried it? Did it work for you? What works for you? What are your tricks? Reply to this Question |

Try this product called Tend Skin. It's specifically made to reduce unsightly razor bumps. If you can't get it in your area, try looking for it on the web.

Shave with either creme or simply in the shower with water, and always, ALWAYS, shave WITH the grain, not against it.

The only thing that helped me with that problem was to laser on my legs and all the bikini area. It was gone forever. We will have that problem for the rest of our lives if we dont do the laser. Do one session at a time and have two glasses of wine to deal with the pain. But it ALL SO WORTH IT!!!!
