reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2009): I know exactly how you're feeling . I have been in love with my exboyfriend since june 08 . it ended badly . I have reminders of him everywhere & in everything I do . he was my everything & I was hnestly truly in love with him . I still am . as for advice I don't offer much other than to just look at the good points of the relationship . cherish the moments you had together . as for the bad points , look at them as a learning experience for your next relationship & life in general . in time you (& I ) will hopefully see the faults at which the realtionship crumbled . best of luck .

 You throw yourself into other things that will keep your mind and body busy could be anything from joining some clubs around school or out of school if we are busy we are less likey to dwell on things idle hands and all that! so keep busy and whenever he comes into your mind or you start to think about him tell yourself Nope i am over him not going down that road and concentrate on something else you will be amazed at how quick you will adjust to thinking differently if you made a decision to call it quits then you follow that through good luck.

Well you didnt give too much information on how much you see this guy and whats happened in the past between you two. However, id say that the best way to get over someone is to have space between the two of you. You cant expect yourself to forget about your feelings if they are shining through every day. If you let me know a little more of the story i could help you out better, but from what i know i would say to just let yourself have space from him or possibly try and look to replace him if theres no chance you will be together.
