I told him I didn't love him anymore and we went to the bar, he continuously ignored me, so I went home with someone else. (not so smart on my part) It's been 5 months now and I realized I still love him but it was the life we were living that I didn't like. I have tried to get him back but I don't know how to go about doing it. I love him so much how do I get him back?

reader, anonymous, writes (16 February 2007): Ummm, well hindsight isn't an excuse for your malignent behavviour, you should of thought of this first.
If you were so 'desperate' for attention, you should have left him before sleeping with someone else. Hopefully you've learnt the grass isn't greener as for getting him back, you wont and if you do it will never be the same.

 Why don't you arrange to meet up with him and talk to him person to person, maybe go out for a coffy or something.
Tell him how sorry you are, and it was a difficult situation you were going through at the time.
It may take some time for him to put his full trust in you again, but im sure in time he will come round, just be patient.

 Why don't you write him a letter or send him a card from the heart. Say to him in it that it has been 5 months now and you realise just how much you're still in love with him. Let him know you were under a lot of stress at the time and wanted nothing more than to settle down with him and not have people interfering (parties) all the time. You love him more than anything and would love him just to give you one more chance to prove it to him. Add your contact numbers then wait......
