 Try teasing him back a bit. you know boys that age tease as an indrect way to show they like you. But just as girls, he's shaking in his boots when it comes to telling you. Your question reminds me of middle school. A whole bunch of girls go up to one guy to ask them out for them, then they all giggle when you answer. Too cute. lol
The other advise I have to give. Talk to him in private. Boys, as well as girls are afraid of the reaction from friend and are influenced by them. He may show rejection when deep down he's wanting to accept.
You could ask him if he just sees you as a buddy or as a girl too.
I will say this. Treat litely. you don't want to get involved in a boyfriend, girlfriend relationship, let your emotions take over there and end up ruining your friendship.
