I got out a personal loan for him which is still owing 4000 and a credit card bill also in my name that we use together with a balance of 6000! I know he will be angry at me if I leave him and will claim everything is his and dumb all the repayments on me.. I will be the one to move out as I can afford the rent at our current property alone I don't want to loose my 1500 bond. It all just seems so hard and thats why I havnt don it sooner he is a nice guy but we are just at diffrent life stages please help!!!!! Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (13 September 2012): Your first step would be sitting down with him and tell him exactly what you're feeling. If he is a nice guy he shouldn't expect you to be stuck repaying his loans. If you bought stuff together figure out a far way of dividing things. You might end up losing money, but if you're not happy living with him, it might be well worth it.
