writes:Hey all! Me again, so me and my girlfriend have been together for about 3 years. Everything's been going great and whatnot but I recently started high school, the thing is, people.... are just....assholes. Since the first time I've gotten with my girl, people have told me crap.Like "oh, your girlfriends fat" "Your girl's a whale! Haha" And all this kinda crap, which personally hurts me.. saying that, she's not even "Fat" I mean, she's not "Skinny" nor is she "Fat" she's basically in the middle, which I like because it's one of the things tht make her cute. She's the most awesome-est person I've ever met! She's nice, she's always there for me, she caters to me (but I never ask her to), and she just... she's my everything! I just don't like tht people think she's fat.. I get crap like this every day. Is there a way to fight it off or when someone says something about it to me, what can I say as a "Comeback" because.. after 3 years.. I'm really getting tired of this bullcrap. I tell her often and she says she doesn't care and stuff but I know deep down she does and I hate that! Yeah she's great! Gosh I love her! She makes me feel like...I dunno just..reeeaaallly happy!And after three years, everytime I see her..I still have those nervous little butterflies in my stomach! I so wish that there were more guys around like you. Your girlfriend is such a lucky girl, to have such a wonderfull and kind B/F. Ignore them honey, like the others have said, they are just jealous idiots and not worth your attention.

 thats really sweet how much you care for your girlfriend. don't let these comments affect how you feel about her. whenn people insult or tease you, you can just act totally neutral and say 'get over yourself" or "did i ask for your opinion?" stuff like that. or just ignore them. teenagers are cruel, and eventually, they will mature and stop being so mean and rude. hope this helped!

If you have been close with this girl for three years and she still thinks you are tops and you feel the same about her, that is all that counts. If you can't ignore the BS, then just tell your "friends" they should be so lucky. Then tell them it is absolutely no business of theirs. You might tell them to go find a "Twiggy" of their own if they think skinny girls are so hot (wink).
