writes: i like this guy who works behind a bar. i went in there once to use the loo and spotted him.ive asked my friends to go in some nite 4 a drink but they hate the place! i would be to embarassed to go in on my own so what should i do?....i cant 4get him cuz i havent liked someone 4 3 years and then i spot him and say to myself "oh i think hes a fine piece of stuff!!!!!!" reader, anonymous, writes (24 January 2006): I agree - ask one friend to come along with you then you don't have to worry about annoying all your friends. Find one who is particularly fun and flexible and has a good time no matter what and head out with them. Alternatively find a friend who you don't really hang out with a lot who you know would really like the club and go with them.

 Maybe than suggesting this place as the venue for a night out you could suggest it is the meeting place or the starting place for a night out.At least if you make that clear then they know they are not spending the whole night there. Failing that maybe you could take one friend who you closely trust aside and explain how you feel and hopefully they will then come with you to this bar. Good luck.
