I think that I'm obsessed, or maybe in love, maybe both, with my teacher. She is 24 and I am 18. At the moment I am a senior in high school. I've honestly had a crush on her since my sophomore year, and ever since I've grown more attached to her. She is the person to whom I tell the events of my day. I am honestly falling for her more and more every coming day. I doubt it's normal. I just want her to notice me more than just her student. When you love somebody, you tend to seek them out more, right? So I developed an interest in her, wanting to know more and more about her.

I managed to have her for a directed study class and one day figured out that she has 4th period lunch/prep. I asked her if I could eat lunch with her, she was alright with it. Even till this day I still have lunch with her during that 4th hour period. What can I say? It's probably the only time of day that I can, without trying to sound creepy, have her to my self. I just enjoy spending time and conversing with her. We just talk about our favorite movies, music, how the weekend went. Normal stuff, right? One day that we were talking, she told me that this year she ran Mu-Alpha-Theta, I wanted to join. Now as for Mu-Alpha-Theta, I actually have had an interest in joining since my junior year, math has always interested me. Plus she's a math teacher, and in her own words, "math geek". Luckily I had maintained an "A" average in my math classes all throughout high school so joining wasn't a problem.

I also found out that she has a boyfriend, this is where I really feel like crap. The funny thing, is that her boyfriend went to the same school that I want to go for college. I don't know, I just want her to give me a chance. To see me more than a student. How much of a difference can a measly six years make? Once every so often I like to give her something from starbucks. I don't want people to mistake my feelings, I'm not trying to get in bed with her. I just want some love reciprocated. Well that was my story.

My question is what to do? How can I win her over, if that can ever happen. Obviously I will face the people who tell me that it's wrong. Let me first address them. Yes it is, for a student to go out with his teacher. What I'm suggesting, if anything at all ever can happen, is after high school. Secondly, I know she has a boyfriend. My brain is telling me one thing, and my heart another. I'm trying to make sense of that fact. But please, don't let my previous answers scare anyone from answering. Answer ahead.
