My ex once said that he wasn't in love with me anymore but that he still loves me romantically and more than just a friend. I'm confused. What does this mean? I thought if you aren't "in love" with someone, you're loving them as a friend ...

kenny agony auntTo say that you are not in love with someone, then say you are in love with them romantically is somewhat odd, reading that left me abit confused too. I would have thought that if you loved someone romantically you would still be madly in love with them. Of course you can love someone in a friendly way, but his terminology suggessts otherwise. Why don't you have a chat with him about this and get him to clarify what he meant.
