He's gone away for two months will he still be interested when he comes back?

Okay, basically, I've liked this guy for the past couple of years and about a year ago, when he began to notice that I liked him, he started showing very clear and obvious signs that he liked me to. He's shy, and there have been times when it's looked like he's wanted to tell me about it, but hasn't. I really really do have feelings for him and I think he might feel the same way towards me perhaps, but he's gone away for two months (America) and I have no way of contacting him! Do you think he will go off me and not be interested when he gets back?
