it depends what u see as wrong. I think if u want to remain a virgin then don't go out with this guy.. he'll wana take it away from u. guys love it when a girls not a virgin because it's tighter for them because ur vagina's hymen is still intact. I say don't do it and if u do then be very careful and make sure he's not a psycho

 The age gap is a little big and for him to sleep with you would be statutory rape. If he liked you so much I’m sure he would be willing to wait another few years.
Try not to put too much pressure on yourself. You are very young and should be trying to enjoy your life as much as you can.
If you do decide to go out with him then tell him that you don’t want to have sex with him for a while. That way you’ll know that he likes you for being you and not for sex.

The age difference isnt the problem here. Three years isnt a major gap, what the issue is here is whether you want the same things.
Yes, at seventeen it is likely he will be expecting sex, but if he is as sweet as you say he is, he will wait until you are ready and respect your wishes. Never be pressured into doing things you arent happy about.
If he a good guy and you like him, go for it, but make sure you are absolutely certain first.
