writes:I could really use some advice. I recently told my ex that I miss him and that I still really care about him. He wrote back and told me he feels the same way. He even mentioned that he doesn't want to nor has dated any1 since me. He also said he'd like to see me. Now the problem is he lives about 6 hours from me (he goes 2 school there). The reason we broke up was because he was moving back home about a whole day from here. Now that he's closer I was wanting things to start up again. We hadn't spoken on the phone since we broke up about 9 months ago but recently when he arrived to his new place he called me up. Two days later I called him but the both times we spoke he said he'd call me back or the next day and he didn't. I don't understand. Does he not care anymore? He doesn't know anyone there yet. Do you think he is just busy with school and trying 2 adjust to his new school and people? If he didn't care would he have bothered calling me up again? Please help. =)

reader, anonymous, writes (21 September 2006): You're stressed out about him not calling for 1 or 2 days? Let's try for a week. If he doesn't get back to you, call him back. He can be facing many things right now - school, settling in, meeting new people, adjusting to way of life, etc, etc.
