Because we have both grown up and he has gotten cuter and now its hard to even say hey. The day when we did see each other at church, it was cool, but he spoke first and then he told me I looked pretty. OMG that really touched my heart. But now I know he's going to probably want me to speak first. And I just cant do it for anything in the world right now. Please help! How do I approach him. I also want his number, but how do I do that. Because right now the only thing I can do is make sure I look good when he walks by. I really need your guidance on this one, because I've never been in a situation where I might have to do all the work for this guy attention. Every dude I have talked to did everything first not me.  Smile at him, say "hi, you look good, how are things with you?" and keep doing that when you see him.
If he doesn't respond well or ignores you, well, then you'll be like most of the humans on the planet. Almost everyone gets a crush on someone, develops feelings which aren't reciprocated. It's like a rite of passage.
Just be as brave as you can. Smile, say hi and ask how he's doing...
