As a guy who kinda has the same hang-up, i have to agree with Jessica04. It's kinda hypocritical of me too, because i go down on my wife all the time and then kiss her immediately afterward without a second thought, but when it comes to her kissing me after she's gone down on me, I am always hesitant. Something to do with being able to taste my own manhood in her mouth.
I would definitely ask him about it.

Have you asked him what his hang up is? Personally, I think if he is ok with kissing you after you going down on him, then it shouldn't matter if he cums or not, especially since I'm sure precum is involved.
Just explain to him that you enjoy it, and ask him why he is against it. If he is firm about not wanting you to swallow, then you might just have to deal with it and spit.
