 Are you ready for sex, do you want sex? you need to think about these things as it does not sound like you are ready, if this is true you need to tell your boyfriend this and if he is the nice type og guy then he will accept it, if he does not you dont want to be with him.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 July 2010): Well it depends if this is your first time or not. When you say your heart races, I assume that you feel somewhat nervous? But either way, if you feel uncomfortable in any way it probably just means your not ready to take that step with him.
You'll most likely know when your ready because eventually you'll be comfortable and more relaxed.
So maybe instead of him starting all this first, you should. Or just tell him how you feel; that you feel nervous, uncomfortable. I'm sure if he cares enough he'll understand
